Back in the days when I was a very idealistic artist, an enthusiastic artist friend once said, "Paint Big!" Without regard for the consequences I took up the challenge. The scene depict a spacecraft with two large parabolic antennae, drifting above the cratered surface of a nearby planet. A closeup of the cockpit windows shows detail of instruments inside the compartment. At nearly four feet by 5 feet, the piece is too big to be shipped or even driven to a local show without renting a truck. The painting has never been exhibited.
