Science fiction films gave joy to my childhood and have always influenced my work. They speak to the explorer, to the adventurer, and to the wide-eyed child within us. The motion picture "Forbidden Planet" was the inspiration for this piece and its title is taken from Robby the robot's greeting to Commander Adams and Lieutenants Doc Ostrow, and Jerry Farman - of course! The image is also available as a matted and mounted, limited edition print .
